Yah for afterwork dinnering...
Dec. 11th, 2002 07:12 amIt's so nice when Adam doesn't have to close at work, and I'm off. Monday night, he got off at 20:30 or so, and we went to Shoney's because he was feeling "dinnerish, like pasta or something". And I discovered a whole new way to enjoy other people's clovesmoke.
Tea.
He, being a beautiful Southern human being, ordered sweet tea ("If it cain't double as syrup, it don't count."), and then experimented with blowing smoke into the glass via the straw. Lends the hummingbird feed--er, tea--a nice...well, smokey flavor. Tasted like autumn, I thought. Most enjoyable.
Now I'm curious what it would taste like with Kev's Sweet Dreams....
Anyhoo, just thought I'd share!
