Apr. 12th, 2003 08:38 pm....okay, dammit... I know I can't draw the male form to save my life. I am well aware of my total DUH when it comes to drawing guys sans photo or live reference. But none of the guys in my life'll stand still long enough for me to even get a basic sketch going. So what's my reference? Other People's Work. Photos, drawings, sketches, you name it. Other People's Stuff...
But it's bloody hard to research Other People's Stuff with two guys sitting over my shoulders kvetching about the naked elven ass on the screen. Dammit, all I wanted was his chest! Who told me to scroll down, you heartless twits, who?!
So.
Anyone know anyplace where I can find a TORSO STUDY of a semibroad, very male male? I've searched the Elfwood through, but apparantly "handsome"="androgynous", and I'M TRYING TO DRAW AN ACTUAL GUY HERE......

He and Phil just got into a minidebate about where Cain and Seth (think Genesis, kids) got their wives. Phil's stance is that Adam and Eve weren't the *only* folk God created, just the first. Adam, being CoC, is of the opinion that if you can't find documentation of more being made, then they weren't.
Me, I'm just sitting back wondering how the whole transmutation from elemental to human thing fits into his Not-Written-Not-True code. But he ain't talkin' and I ain't askin'... And I sure ain't askin' Phil.
