Oct. 27th, 2003 11:14 amI dream of loving, of the empty graveyard
I dream of Vegas and the transcendental wildcard
A place where noone waits to die before they go into the light
And just the blind have sight
I follow nothing but the compass of my instinct
No matter where it leads, I know it will take me to the brink
And leave me there by myself and all alone with my dreams...
Found this interesting... A neat little loophole; tell me, if the music's being piped through to your TV via cable connections, what stops someone from videotaping that "program" and playing it back at will?
I love my country. A nation full of needle-threaders and cons, and it's encouraged, because that's how progress is made. Were it not for good theives, some of the most fascinating locks would never have been invented...
On a more personal note: November is shaping up to be quite workable! New digs, as of the 15th...smaller, but more energy, fuel, and time efficient. A one-year lease on those, which is good for the stability and better for my habit of only living in a rental-place for a year before fidgeting off...(Note to self: track down that "why"--it's a behavioral pattern that doesn't mesh with the put-down-roots drive, and it's only been alive since Chattanooga...hm.)
Now if we can only get the insurance-monster beheaded/tamed (which is in the works), we'll be set. For a while, anyway.
Yay for having a plan of attack.
