In other news, I got asked today whether I was my boss's sister. "Ya'll resemble, kinda."
"Nope," I answered smiling, "May as well be, sometimes, but we're not blood."

Right up there with getting to play "So where you from, anyway?" again last week.
"Oh, I love this game! Guess!"
"I wouldn't know what to say..."
"Don't worry about it--I get guesses from all over. Give it the shot!"
"Well you don't sound local... I'd say Washington?"
"Wow. That's new. ~grin~ Never gotten Washington before."
"So where you from, anyway?"
"About fifteen miles southeast o' here."

For the record, my most common response is California. One lady (who'd never been north of the Mason-Dixon or west of the Mississippi) even went so far as to specify San Diego. Go fig.

So there's one more for obfuscation.
