That's right--today we get to climb twelve degrees to attain the expected LOW.

So I got the little boy all bundled up with his layers and his new "I Do My Own Stunts" shirt (thanks, Adam. ~wry snicker~), and we're off to school (because he does learn things there, and "daycare" is a word no-one in the house likes). He's looking forward to telling his friends who've already had birthdays that now he's the same age they are.

And when we get there, there's a sign on the door.

"CLOSED TODAY.
NO HEAT."

Dae looks at me with betrayed eyes. "Why are we going home? I don't want to hang out. You said we were going to go to SCHOOL!!!!"
