Open Letter

Things like this are no help in encouraging your wife not to fly (and by fly I mean drive. Surface roads.) to Wyoming for the summer (nor are things like this or this, which I found by surfing off the first link), even if they do do beautiful things for encouraging her to learn to use a pistol and clean the kitchen. Maybe if you drive into the hinterlands wherein lies your favorite shooting range--VERY SLOWLY--with a cooler packed full of drinks and a Wal-Mart sack of snacks, maybe you will trick her system into believing it has been taken for a long road trip. But unless you have some purple sage in your pocket, I wouldn't bet on it. The nose knows.
