1) When the boxed-noodle-mix-thing (which shall hereafter be known as Yakisoba Helper) says "Rinse cooked noodles in cold water", it is not, in fact, only making a polite suggestion. What did you have for lunch today, Jess? Soy/ginger wheatpaste, with onions and sesame seeds. It's lovely and filling, but...stiff.
2) There really aren't words for the how deeply I appreciate Dylan Meconis's work (Bite Me! and Family Man, specifically). Here's Jess, quietly saving her pennies and hoping for a Luther Levy portrait print to go up for sale. I <3's me some short, beak-nosed, terrifyingly bright, German wolf-boy.
3) Schools are closing here based on the threat of Winter Weather. The threat. As if it were a bomb. OH GOD, SNOW, SOMEBODY REPORTED SNOW, EVACUATE THE CHILDREN! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Jesus.
