One more for "Collect Data Points; Cash 'Em In For..."---
I can now recognise a Chris Cornell song by the texture of the sound. Useful? Not unless "Name That Tune" goes a little harder-core. But it's somethin'.
Adam & I should have SCA membership cards in our hot little hands soon, boo yah. However, it should be understood that "soon" in the SCA is like "new" in the Navy--anywhere from ten days to ten years. Can't give 'em much grief; it's not like the folk pushing these papers are getting paid to do it and nothing else. Matter o' fact, they're not. They've got dayjobs and lives *aside* from being form-runners for the whole of the Society. So. Take your time, guys. We've got a printer and a prayer.
What else?
mm. Had to bug out on poor Hawk and the demo he was supposed to be running at a Madison High School; again, dayjobs and lives impinge on Society playtime. If the mailing gods are kind, though, we should be able to get to the game tonight, Gryph in tow. ~crosses fingers and wishes she knew the proper bribe--er, offering--to encourage the mailing gods to be kind....~ Thankfully, I was able to connect him to Seamus, who has numbers for harrassing folk that I lack. Best of luck, Hawkins, and my apologies.
Anything else? ~rummages through pockets...lint, spare change, old reciepts...~ Nope. That's it.
Well then.
Off to stab a dangling tennis ball for a few minutes, and then to lunch.
Good day and Godspeed, mes amis.

And correccion...the folks in CA at the home SCA office DO get paid.
