Wierd mood this morning:
Jun. 21st, 2006 09:30 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
I'm squeakless today; there're errands to run and chips of the Grail to find and me to make presentable to CEO-type strangers, but at the moment I'm here, zennetsurfing and trying to find the name of the song by A Perfect Circle that contains the lyrics "disconnect and self distruct one bullet at a time. If you choose to pull the trigger, should your drama prove sincere, do it somewhere far away from here."
Usually, it'd be a snap.
But A Perfect Circle, apparently, has the same hangup as Bob Dylan but to the 10th power: They can't bear to see their lyrics reprinted ANYWHERE. Bob at least puts them on his site. These guys? Nada. Lots of why-we-put-this-album-together, lots of what-we-believe-in-and-are-protesting-against. Lots of well-thought-out stuff...but no lyrics. Which is a shame, because their lyrics are well-thought-out stuff, too.
(a thing that makes me smile in a band as hard as they are.)
So.
If anyone knows and can step up with that data, you get cookies.
(Or, in the case of people OUTSIDE of a five-minute drive, a picture of cookies and *lots* of warm vibes.)
Current playlist:
"Afterglow"--Garbage
"Clubbed to Death"--Rob Dougan
"If We Kissed"--g.o.k. It's attributed to Fiona Apple, but it doesn't sound a thing like her. Any takers, here?
"Six Underground"--the Sneaker Pimps
"Everlong"--the Foo Fighters
"Bleed Like Me"--Garbage
"I Will Survive"--Cake
"Lateralis"--Tool
"Cure for the Itch"--Linkin Park
One hell of a mood I'm in...~shakes head~

Date: 2006-06-23 11:50 am (UTC)And Google from this box has gotten wierd lately when looking for lyrics. ~concerned look~ Ah well. LimeWire coughed it up, once I knew what I was looking for. It's good drawing music.
