Hate to be cryptic, but hate to tempt fortune more, so here goes.
If you think of it, clap if you believe in Marks these next few days/weeks. He's dangling the bated line in the water, and he's watching fish; now it's a matter of seeing who bites and whether they stay on the hook. And staying still so as not to spook them off.
As for myself?
Eh.
Still dodging. Hesitant to set up follow-up appointments when there's no insurance and no money to pay for the work. Whatever's amiss has kept since October; it can keep keeping for a few more weeks.
I know, I know.
There'll be heads shaking at me for waiting like this.
But I'd honestly rather eat and have a home just now than let someone peer at my cervix and report back the findings, I don't care what findings they may be.
Unless it turns out that the damned thing's lined in gold.
And they know a way to harvest the gold without killing me.
THAT might be worth it, if only because the gold might be enough to pay for the procedure.
Although it might not; I don't know what the market looks like.
Quote of the Night:
"You cannot understand a man's actions unless you understand his beliefs."
~~Lifted without regard for context from a conversation in one of the books in the condensed Illuminatus! trilogy.
(I swear. Between the codepig and the philosophy nut, one of us will wind up with seriously Discordian tendancies by the end of this book.
It's incoherant and rambling and mad, and just as you give up all hope for figuring it out, it drops one line on you that rings as true as Newton's Third Law. One line, and you're staring at the ceiling contemplating Good, Evil, Right, Wrong, Dolphins, Original Sin, and The Meaning of Life. In caps. For hours. ~shakes head~
Thank everything divine that neither of us is on drugs while reading it.)

Yes. There are.
But I get it, too . . . it's the same thing I'd do in your current pair of shoes.
Could be gold, though. How're you gonna know??
