1. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only changed.
2. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, only changed.
3. An object in motion--or at rest--tends to remain so unless acted upon by some outside force.
4. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
5. Yin and Yang oppose one another, but they also require one another. Each contains within itself the seed of the other, and in the absence of the one, the other will transform into it until the balance is struck anew.
