Well.
By itself, uncut, it tastes like less-bitter espresso.

As Mark put it:
"That's coffee, alright. Not a vaguely coffee-like substance. Coffee. Hm."
(~pours more concentrate into the steaming cup; stirs~)
Me: So what's the ratio in there now, .5/1, water/coffee?
Mark: Nono, pretty close to 2/1... maybe 1.5/1. Ish. ~wanders off sipping brew~

As for myself, I've managed to down a whole mug without sugar--shock! Granted, I cut it about 2.5/1, milk/coffee, but I haven't enjoyed coffee black since I was about 13 and trying to shock my father.

Still.
Two hours later, there's still the faint caffeine-hum behind my eyes, and my body hasn't rebelled against the Brew.

This has potential.

Alright then.

So you liked it, sort of by the sound of it. Excellent!

~grin~ I liked it, sort of, even unsweetened. This puts it head and shoulders above the last cuppa we made. :D

hmmm...so basically, you're making your own instant coffee? coffee syrup? so, like you could go thru all this trouble then figure out how to dehydrate it and then put it in a jar to mix later with hot water?

i wonder if it will sell?

*ducking*
