Spirits in the Wires...

Well, looks like i've just poured out my soul to the Aether again.

Maybe I should be grateful that the Spirits in the Wires are keeping me from looking a complete fool.

Still, I can't help feeling a little gypped.

Damn.

Suffice it to say that I will be glad when Monica comes home so that I can hug her husband (even in the presence of *my own* husband!) without developing a nervous twitch. And maybe when I develop the ability to hug him in her absence sans said twitch, *maybe* then I'll get an old friend back.

Something on my mind since party at my house

When everyone was at my place a few weeks ago, the Goad in my blood (mother's side) couldn't resist grabbing the tall skinny ones derry aire.
It was there and I just did...but then he latched onto me and played my game better than me...and I recalled hearing something to the tune that he had a history of "cavorting".
Has his dear lady mentioned anything of this to you?
I meant no harm, no intention in my act...only being silly and comfortable with all the friends in my home. I don't want to give her any reason to distrust me, ya know?

~shrugs~ From what I can tell, she's one of those who still wonders why he's with her instead of any of us--doesn't see her own coolnesses. Thankfully, *he* sees them quite clearly and isn't hesitant to tell her about them (God, they're adorable).

Yeah, in the past, he's been a bit of a stray cat.
But he said it best NYE: "I've screwed up before, but not again. No, you're fun (~pat pat pat~) but you're not *her* (~silly smile at Her). So I can harrass you, 'cause you're safe, and I'm goin' home with Her."

Be aware, but don't worry, you know?

I was just feelin' around to see if she'd said anything to you.
And since it seems she hasn't, I'm not worried.
Like I said, I meant nothing by it other than teasingly fun.
Just don't want to hurt me and the lady's repoire none.
