Let the experiment begin:

10:02 pm, and the Ghetto Cold-Brewed Coffee experiment is underway...

Keep your fingers crossed, kids...

Cold brewed coffee. Does that mean it's to be drank cold? I...That's...wow, more power to ya'!

~grin~ judging by what I've read, cold brew can be mixed with hot water (2 parts water: 1 part brew; adjust to taste) for warm coffee or with cold water or milk for tasty-yet-cold coffee-things.

Note the cutting with water or somesuch. Because apparently, this stuff is STOUT. Not necessarily highly caffeinated, but certainly concentrated. Good news is, it should keep in a fridge for at least a week.

More news as the experiment progresses...

Keeps in the fridge for longer than that, if it's good coffee, and even Starbucks brews without too much bitter. What do you normally brew with?

~warm smile~ With what's to hand. Is a thing called "Foglifter" which we find at Publix and tastes decent even after being brewed hot and allowed to grow stone cold. Don't remember the brand, alas.

Honestly, if cold brewing can redeem Starbucks, then it's a coffee-messiah. :)
